Dead Space 2 Gameplay: Weird Bug (A Clipping and Collision Detection Glitch)
Yep, even EA’s games have occasional problems with clipping and collision detection. For those not familiar with those terms, collision detection is a process to separate objects in a game world and give them the appearance of real mass. Clipping (in a physics sense) is the process that developers use to give floors, walls, and ceilings mass so that you can’t run through them nor get stuck in them. BUT, as you can see, every developer struggles with clipping issues from time to time…
Watch several necromorphs try to attack me while they are stuck halfway through the floor. That always makes for great comic relief… Full Dead Space 2 Playlist: www.youtube.com Full Two Worlds II Playlist: www.youtube.com Full Fallout NV Playlist: www.youtube.com
